Raised from single sheets of sterling silver, the surfaces of the masterpieces feature the distinctive hammer marks that subtly diffuse the reflection and give an otherworldly shimmer.

In spring 2019, Georg Jensen proudly relaunches the magnificent Tureen 270 designed in 1918 by master silversmith Georg Jensen himself. Fusing meticulous craftsmanship, precious materials and the rich heritage of Scandinavian design this breathtaking centrepiece - only manufactured as a one-off more than 100 years ago – is now brought back to life.

Designed by the hand of Georg Jensen in 1915, Jardinière 1505 was never put into production and remained a sketch until now, when the hauntingly beautiful design was rediscovered in Georg Jensen’s historic archives. From top to bottom, the piece reveals magnificent decorative details like grapes, wild flowers and leaves hand-carved and sculpted into the design.
